Nayun’s Role in 180: Student Consultant
While working with nonprofits during my gap year, I loved the altruistic work culture but often felt a discrepancy between the impact I wanted to deliver and the impact I could realistically offer. 180DC helped me bridge that gap with new skills and meaningful mentorship. I’ve been involved in projects that include developing an improved outreach strategy for a nonprofit that provides asylum seekers and refugees with counseling and legal services, as well as refining a customer relationship management software for a leading sustainable consumer goods company.
I can confidently say the 180 community shaped my personal, professional, and academic aspirations for the better—I couldn’t be more grateful and excited to pass on the impact!
